What is a skeleton key?

What are my parking options at the event?
Free parking is available just south of the Zoo by the southwest entrance gate. This gate is located just off Highway 83 (Main Street) by Cleaver Field and just a short walk to all the fun of “A Wild Affair”.  Please be responsible when making transportation plans; we want guests to have fun but also be safe following the event.

What should I wear to the event?
Dress is casual; keep in mind you'll be outdoors on the West Green of the Zoo.

What is the ticket refund policy?
"Boo! at the  Zoo" is a fundraiser for the Zoo. As such, refunds are not offered. Your donation supports the Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo and their efforts to fund improvements at Lee Richardson Zoo.  If there is inclement weather on the original date, the event will be held on the following Saturday.

Can I pay for tickets with check or cash?
Yes, to pay with cash or check you must do so in person at the Zoo, Ward's, or Blue Fox Boutique.  Tickets must be paid in full at time of purchase. Credit card payments are only accepted through the online site or at the Friends office in the Finnup Center for Conservation Education.

Can I still purchase tickets at the gate?
No.  Tickets will not be sold at the gate.  Purchase tickets in advance at the Zoo, Ward's, Blue Fox Boutique or on this website.

Will I need to pay for food or beverages at the event?

No, tickets are all-inclusive so food and beverages are included.  You will need to bring a form of payment for any live or silent action items you purchase that evening.  We will accept, cash, check or credit card.  You can help us raise more money that evening by paying for auction items with cash or checks.  Credit card companies charge us fees but we will still be accepting them at the event.

What happens if it rains?
A Wild Affair is held rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. It will still be fun but we may have to move a few things around!

Can I smoke at the event?
Lee Richardson Zoo is smoke-free.

What is with the camera?
This event will have an event photographer taking photos through the day. These photos are for Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo use only and may appear on the Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo website, social media outlets, or other future Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo promotional material.
