To recap the previous year, Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo will hosts the "Annual Dinner Meeting" at the Finnup Center for Conservation Education. Jared Bixby, Curator of Education from Sunset Zoo in Manhattan will share his experiences working with Wildlife SOL for the conservation of sloth bears in India. Doors open at 5:30 pm for seating and appetizers. Dinner served at 6:00 pm.

Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo is revving up for an action-packed day at the zoo on July 11, 2020 with the Jungle Run automobile show on the West Green of Lee Richardson Zoo.

A Wild Affair - Sept. 5, 2020
A Wild Affair”, Lee Richardson Zoo’s largest and wildest “Fun-Raiser” of the year.
This exceptional evening takes place under the stars of the Zoo’s West Green and features live music. Enjoy a roaring good time while you and friends sip on a variety of adult beverages while sampling delicious foods from some of the region’s best restaurants and caterers. Bid on hundreds of unique items in the live and silent auctions, all to benefit improvements at Lee Richardson Zoo. Tickets are all-inclusive. Adult beverages will be served so all guests must be 21 or over and have a valid ID.
Boo! at the Zoo - Oct. 17, 2020
The 26 th annual "Boo! At The Zoo" is scheduled for October 17, 2020. The event offers local children a fun and safe trick-or-treat experience, while also supporting Zoo improvements. "Boo! At The Zoo" has become a family tradition in Garden City and draws an average of 5,000 people annually in a single night. This event will take place in and around the zoo from approximately 4 - 8 p.m.
