Kansas Waters Exhibit |
|
The Kansas Waters Exhibit
imitates the natural ecosystem of a river. Visitors
stroll down a dry "arroyo-like" riverbed and can view playful river
otters frolicking behind underwater viewing windows on one side, and
learn about the importance and complexity of water in Southwest Kansas
thru interactive graphics on the other. |

The west entrance to the otter exhibit will immerse you in the feeling that you are walking down a riverbed in Kansas. |

The Kansas Waters Exhibit was funded in
part by a Wildlife Conservation and Restoration Program Grant from the
United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of the Interior and
the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. We would also like to
thank the Playa Lakes Joint Venture for helping to fund the interactive
graphics. |
